Magners extend partnership with Celtic
MAGNERS Irish Cider today underlined its continuing domestic and international ambitions by announcing a four-year extension of the partnership with Celtic Football Club, which will see their backing of the Scottish Champions run until the end of season 2019/20. Magners will continue to feature on the famous green and white hoops, in a partnership that will cement Magners’ backing of the Scottish Champions over a seven-year period. The cider brand, which has featured on the front of the Hoops’ jersey since 2013, will adopt a new position across the shoulders on the back of the jersey from the start of the 2016/17 season. The Magners name will also continue to appear on the club’s training kit.

War ja schon länger ein offenes Geheimnis. Dafabet steht ab nächster Saison dann also auf der Brust und Magners auf dem Rücken über der Nummer...der Trend geht also eindeutig in Richtung laufende Litfaßsäule.

Celtic today announced a new shirt sponsor with Dafabet. It is the biggest ever shirt sponsorship deal in Scottish football history. The Scottish Champions will receive £2,625,000 per year & will also gain further bonuses if the Club reaches the Champions League group stages.

Ist das wirklich viel in Schottland?Weil das kommt mir sehr wenig vor,ist zwar eher eine unattraktive Liga aber bekommt Manu und auch Bayern bald von Adidas nicht knappe 100 Millionen pro Jahr?Das sind knappe 3% davon für den schottischen Meister der vielleicht sogar Champions League spielt.

Also ich weiß es sieht schlimm aus für den Schottischen Fußball,aber was bekommen denn dann die schlechteren Vereine aus dem unteren Tabellendrittel? Müssen sich die Spieler ihre Schuhe selber kaufen

Das ist ja nur der Trikotsponsor und nicht der Ausrüster. Das sind erstmal zwei paar Schuhe, aber den Unteschied hast du schon richtig erkannt.

Mit Magners bekommen wir wohl bei einer erfolgreichen Saison um die 6 Mille pro Jahr. Das ist für schottische Verhältnisse sehr viel.... Einige Bundesligisten bekommen da vom Trikosponsor auch nicht mehr.....

Aber die Überschrift lässt erstmal mehr vermuten.... Trotzdem brauhen wir das Geld dringend....

Das sind für uns grandiose Zahlen.

Und da kommt noch einiges an CL Kohle dazu. Das wird am Ende der Saison ausbezahlt.

Lee will have responsibility for the management of the club's player recruitment function and our scouting operation, including our international scouting network. Lee is hugely experienced in football. He has a UEFA pro coaching licence and has held coaching positions with the Welsh FA and Liverpool FC, he was Head of Scouting at Chelsea for seven years, Technical Director at German club Hamburg and most recently held the position of Sporting Director at Sunderland FC.
