Hyeokkyu Kwon teams up with fellow South Koreans

South Korean defensive midfielder, Hyeokkyu Kwon signed on the dotted line with Celtic on Monday and is already settling into life as a Celt. The 22-year-old is now one of three South Koreans at Celtic Park as he and fellow new signing, Hyunjun Yang, will be teaming up with striker, Hyeongyu Oh, and the new Bhoy gave his first media conference today.

We have a few players out on loan at the moment, and one that seems to be impressing at his temporary employers is South Korean midfielder Kwon who joined St Mirren on a loan deal from Celtic last month. By all accounts the big midfielder is winning many admirers amongst the buddies supporters, and was a stand out in the recent 3-0 win against Hibernian at Easter Road. This is good news not only for Stephen Robinson’s side, but for Celtic also as we could be getting a more confident and accomplished player when the South Korean heads back to Celtic Park in the summer.
