Da sind ebenfalls die Commonwealth-Games drinn, alles Leichtathletikmäßige. Der wird innen für diese Zeit sogar richtig umgebaut, Schottland wird seine Heimspiele ne Zeit lang auch woanders austragen müssen.

Ich bin bei meinem nächsten Besuch im CP schon richtig gespannt wie sich das alles entwickelt hat. Ich fande zwar, dass die Gegend um den CP herum irgendetwas hat, aber ein neuer Anstrich tut sicher gut

Parkhead to get new Dutch pitch
THE playing surface at Celtic Park will be relaid after the Commonwealth Games - with grass grown in the Netherlands. Parkhead will host the opening ceremony for the Glasgow Games, with the club moving the stadium’s current pitch to their Lennoxtown training base.
The new surface, similar to those used by Ajax and Real Madrid, has been described as “quick” and able to “repair itself”.

Finden nur die 2. und 3. Qualirunde in Edinburgh statt oder auch das Play Off (Hinspiel 19./20.8., Rückspiel 26./27.8.)? Und wie lange braucht man von Edinburgh mit dem Zug nach Glasgow?

Ja, die play-offs müssten eigentlich wieder im Celtic Park stattfinden. Von Murrayfield Richtung Glasgow würde ich eher den Bus nehmen, das ist billiger und das Stadion befindet sich eh an der Ausfallstraße nach Westen, da kommen die Busse nach Glasgow direkt vorbei. Dauert von da eigentlich nicht länger als ne knappe Stunde bei normalem Verkehr.

Man das wird echt schön vor dem Celtic Park.
